Thomas Kyle is President of DES Engineering. He has served as Vice President of Utility Distribution Consulting of DES between 2012-2023 and continues to manage the Utility Distribution Consulting team.

Thomas is responsible for leadership management, operations, and corporate risk management. He brings over a decade of experience in utility, commercial, industrial, and residential power systems to DES. His active involvement on projects ensures a quality, professional, and practical design for our clients.  Thomas received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta and is a Professional Engineer registered in Alberta.

Evan, boasting more than 25 years of expertise in the power industry, offers a versatile skill set that spans across industrial, commercial, and residential power distribution sectors. His profound technical acumen and adept project management skills have been honed through years of hands-on experience in the field. Evan has spearheaded projects in more than 40 municipalities in Alberta, successfully navigating diverse technical standards and utility prerequisites along the way.

General Manager

Kelly holds the role of General Manager and serves as the primary testing technician at Power-Test Systems Inc. His extensive experience of over two decades in the Power Line Technician field, coupled with his exceptional management skills, has contributed to numerous successful projects across Alberta.

Kelly is recognized for embodying the core values of integrity, innovation, and growth, making him a prominent figure in the underground distribution systems industry. With a profound knowledge of power systems, Kelly’s primary responsibilities include on-site field coordination, client management, and addressing the specific needs of power utilities.
